Default Lighting problem

I recently changed my headlights on my 01 Accord Ex to the halo aftermarket headlight. They worked fine for almost two months and now my dash lights and my taillights won't turn on when I turn my headlights on. There is a fuse keep blowing up in the passenger side fuse box and every time I put in a new one it burns up again. Can it be the transformer of the headlights or is it something else.

Did you install a switch to adjust the intensity of the halos?

No I did not, the instructions didn't say anything about a switch.

you are pulling too much amperage or you have a short in the circuit that keeps blowing the fuse. probably pulling too much power. disconnect your headlights, replace the fuse, then try the lighting circuit with the headlights disconnected.

also, does the fuse blow immediately, or only when you switch on the lighting?

My opinion? You did a shitty job wiring the 'halo' cathode lights and as a result there is a short somewhere.

Go back to stock and redo all the wiring.

Left side works just fine the right side seems to be the problem, fuse blows up as soon as I turn on the lights. If I did a bad job on the lights which I hope that is the problem the fuse should be blowing up since the first day I installed the headlights, but since the problem started few months after I do not think that it's my wiring bad.

Constant flexing and use of a wire can go bad overtime. If you did not properly seal one and it was exposed to rain water it could be eroding.

I mean I can probably ghetto rig a duct tape radiator hose to work for a few days, doesn't mean down the road it won't blow up. Same holds true for anything else.
