Windshield washer system
My windshield washer system seems to consist of the ducts the fluid comes out of and nothing else. Has anyone tinkered with this system as far as replacing the vast majority of the parts? Is it a quick finished-in-a-day thing or should I just not even waste my time with it?
I very rarely need to use the windshield washer fluid. I bought the car a couple months ago and yesterday was the first day it was cold enough for frost to build up on the windshield and I had to scrape it all off with my jacket sleeve. And to make matters worse, my defrost doesn't work (bad blower motor).
But is this a fix I can do quickly and easily or is this gonna be a leave the car in pieces in the garage for a few days type deal?
Thanks

As long as you have the parts it should not be more then about 2-4 hours, no more then 1hr to remove the front clip, I can pull mine in about 15min., [94 Integra] another hour at the most to mount and connect the washer fluid reservoir another hour to remount clip, takes me about .5hr or a little more as it takes time to make sure it all lines up.
It should not take more then 1/2 a day.
What is the MM&Y of the car? 94

It's a 94 Civic DX. I got the car pretty much just to get through the winter, but I'm trying to fix most of its quirks so that A) I can actually make it through the winter, and B) when I resell the car in the spring/summer, I'll be able to make at least what I paid for it.
So pick up the parts you need from a bone yard, [picknpull] and install them, it's not that hard, if you get the parts at a picknpull it will give you an idea of how long it will take you to install them.
How far are you from Virginia Beach, [there is a picknpull there]? 94

Thread jack:
How would I go about diagnosing my pump and if it has gone bad? I go to use the washer fluid and I don't even hear the pump. I checked the fuse today and switched with another working one- no dice. Some would say it is safe to just replace the pump but is there anything else I can do to make sure before I rip off the front bumper and replace it?
thanks,
Blaze
Edit- It has gotten pretty cold here, down to the single digits but it has been above 40 degrees the past day or two. Possibly frozen fluid? How would that keep me from hearing my pump working?

We've got some junkyards around here. My other question is: when I activate the windshield washer fluid, even though it's not gonna spray anything, the wipers should still go, but they aren't. Maybe a fuse is blown? The wipers work otherwise, just not with the washer fluid control. I think the whole thing is just f-ed.
