2006 Ninja 650R. Has anyone dealt with shipping a motorcycle cross country (cali to tex)? How much and what shipping companies do ya recommend?

List a shipment at UShip.com and have transport providers bid on your transport needs. I got a bike shipped from CA to PA for $350 last winter.

i shipped bike in a crate, with a bunch of other stuff for $700 from jax FL to las vegas

 

had 2 bikes shipped from CALI 2 NY for 800

 

Contact Old Dominion Freight.... Shipped one to London & one to Boston... Very reasonable. They must be crated.
OR Federal (Division of Allied Van Lines... they will ship uncrated...

 

Although the journey itself can be an adventure, sometimes the time, expense or inconvenience of riding to the final destination can make motorcycle shipping a good option. More time at the rally, less time off from work or maybe just a warm, dry ride makes motorcycle shipping sound inviting.
