I need a fuel tank, wondering if any other makes/year will fit my 93 civic hatch or I have to get the hatch model only.

93 Hatchback SI model calls for PN:17500-SR3-316
93 Hatchback CX model calls for PN: 17500-SR0-325
So are they not the same?
Looks like the SI and EX are 316 and the rest are 325.
Wondering if I could put a 93 EX 2 dr Couple (316) Fuel tank into 93 CX hatch (325).

 

All of them are compatible. 2/3/4-dr. Only, 93-95 CX and VX are smaller. You can go aftermarket, too ... and get one that's even bigger than stock, probably for cheaper. Example here (Spectra Premium 51 liter / 13.5 gal tank)
