when im goin through the gears first and second are ok, but third tends to grind and only go's in 10% of the time. it has a cut and welded linkage (bought it like this). but i also tried shifting without the clutch and it still does the same. so im kinda wondering if third is shot. but the shifter at my hands feels alot like **** and loose. what do yall think.

 

if the shifters loose try actually getting under the car and looking at it..and 3rd gear grinds are pretty common to honda transmissions. if it wont go in that gear then youve got a problem
