OK I HAVE A 88 dx hatchback, and a 90 SI motor, the motor was in a car that was flipped and landed upside down and the motor ran upside down for a few seconds and the guy had to climc back in the car and shut it off, but the motor is in my car now and its all wired up. BUT when i turn the key the starter clicks, i have no axels in it, and if its in neutral, and i turn the crank i can here the tranny gears moving too, but if i turn the crank fast enough it will click and the tranny wont spin anymore then when i turn the key it turns over real fast then seems like it gets stuck and when i turn the crank the tranny moves again....... Any ideas?...this ever happen to anyone else? thanks, Brandyn

 

Could the flywheel not be held on correctly anymore?

 

when i had the tranny off it seemed fine when i spun the crank, but i didnt pull the clutch off to see if it was all bolted on all the way but it spun finw without the tranny on
