Default 88crx hf with obd1 gsr

well got a problem, doing a gsr swap into 88 crx hf. the swap is all from a 94 gsr(obd1) we got the obd1 distributor plugs and the obd1 injector plugs all soldered into our obdo motor harness. then we started to check continuity from the motor plugs to the ecu plugs under the dash to make sure our splices were done right. we had a obdo-obd1 printout, and we were checking by that. the first one we checked was red wire from injector 1 supposed to go to a1 right well it was showing continuity to a11, so long story short we checked 5 different wires and 3 were wrong. so we started checking things and noticed that at the plugs by the shock towers, (plugs that go to under dash and ecu)the wires weren't the same color on the motor side as the cabin side. in other words although all the plugs plugged up, hence indicating it was the correct obdo mpfi motor harness, the colors don't match up. we think we accidentally switched the motor harness with a later one from a crx si. is this why the colors don't match up and why were getting wires ending at wrong places at the ecu plugs? thanks

sounds like you are trying to use Si engine harness with HF chassis harness - you could re-pin the connector, but notice that the HF chassis harness has the white igniter wire in the driver's side connector and the Si engine harness has the white igniter wire in the passenger side 6-pin rectangular connector - you would need to account for this

also note that injector #1 has a brown wire from ECU pin A1 - injector #2 has the red wire at ECU pin A3

if you want to use the Si engine harness in the HF with HF chassis harness, this is what you need to do:
