FS: 1993 Civic DX, located near Baltimore, MD
After much thought, its time to put this up here. Its a great car, but I'm just really ready for something different. If it doesn't sell, no biggie, I'll use it as a "trainer" for my girlfriend and potentially other people. Great as an HPDE car. Clean, street-legal title.
NOTE: The cage is NOT race legal. It is very nice and well-constructed, but made from 0.0875" wall thickness tubing (used to be a 10-sec drag car). I have not drilled the main hoop, but all the other tubes I cut out were that thickness, and talking to the shop that made the cage (Autofab in Elkridge, MD http://autofabcart.net/ ) they would have needed to special order the legal tubing (0.095"), which is unnecessary by drag safety requirements.
Engine:
-B20B, OBDI, replaced rings and bearings ~3 years ago (10-20K miles maybe?). Burns a little oil on track, maybe 1-1.5 qt/weekend.
-Crower 62403 cams
-Titanium retainers, dual valvesprings
-Buddy Club adjustable cam gears
-P8R head, ported
-Mugen oil pan, tapped for oil temp sensor
-FC RX7 oil cooler
-Toda header
-Generic whale ***** intake with K&N filter
-Blox intake manifold
-Hondata S100 (see dyno)
-GSR transmission with ITR LSD
-Brand-new Clutchmasters FX400 clutch
-Fidanza flywheel
-Fujitsubo RM01A exhaust, bottleneck removed and resonator replaced with a longer one
-C&R aluminum full-size Radiator
-HASport race motor mounts (front lower mounts removed)
Chassis:
-Old-school Ohlins dampers, rebuilt by Performance Shock ~2 years ago, very low mileage on them. 16K/18K springs F/R (ITR fitment), dyno charts available
-ITR rear LCAs
-USDM ITR rear sway bar with fresh OEM endlinks
-GSR front sway bar with fresh OEM endlinks
-1 set Buddy Club SF 15x6.5 +42 with old RT615 Azenis mounted (1 wheel ok for street use, not recommended for track driving)
-1 set 949 Racing 6UL 15x8 +40 (or +36, don't remember) with decent 205/50-15 BFGoodrich R1s mounted
-ITR front brakes (4-lug)
-GSR rear brakes
-ITR brake master cylinder and booster
-Goodridge SS-braided brake lines, replaced last year
-ARP extended studs in front
-6-point cage
-Beat-to-**** Fiber Images carbon fiber hood with a big hole cut in it. No hinges, held on with four hoodpins (no skeleton on the hood to accept hinges)
-Oil pressure and temperature gauges
-Hard-wired for Traqmate (Traqmate not included)
-Mugen pedal covers
-Carbon "duckbill" spoiler
Other stuff:
-Sparco Pro2000 CF seats (expired, seat cover torn slightly where shoulder bolster meets cage on both seats)
-Modified Del Sol seat sliders with sidemounts
-Schroth 6-point harness for driver (in date)
-Willans 6-point harness for passenger (expired)
-MOMO wheel with LTB quick-release
The interior is completely stripped and painted primer grey, dash has been gutted except for a little bit of ducting to keep the defroster working. The driver's side front fender had a branch drop on it at some point, and was dented pretty badly. I had the dentless repair guy fix it as best he could, but it is not great. Beyond that the body is in very good shape.
More pics available by request, asking $6000 OBO
