check your timing belt it may have sliped a tooth, this just happened to my co workers 92 da, if you got no cell light most likely its a mechanical problem.

It's not a mechanical problem!!!! Sounds to me like the ignition relay. Very common problem on 88-91 civics and 90-93 integras, they are the same part for this car. Here is how you check...
without starting the car(not that it will start) turn the key on until the check engine light comes on. The light will turn off after a second or so. Here's the important part, when the light comes on there should be a light buzzing sound followed by a click as soon as the light turns off. This is the sound of the fuel pump charging and kicking off. If it doesn't click when the CEL turns off, then no fuel and no spark....problem solved....I recommend replacing with a new relay ($60-$70) and it will be good to go. You're Welcome lol

yes. check for fuel at the rail. if you aren't getting either, it's most likely the main relay.
the main relay sends signal to the ecu which sends signal to the distributor

don't listen for the pump. you have to listen for the 2 clicks from the main relay. make sure you hear 2 of them

yea, they should be 3 seconds apart.
just crack the banjo bolt at the fuel rail, and cycle the key on for a second. see if fuel comes out.
get a rag under it first lol

Pull your plug/wire out together, crank it, and let it arc to something to see if you have spark (if any). If not try a working distributor from a friend and check your grounds. I highly doubt you skipped a tooth, but its possible. It would not hurt to remove the whopping 2 blots from the upper timing cover and check.

if the belt has skipped teeth, there still would be spark.

test for voltage at the distributor. if there is none, try and get a hold of a test ecu and try that.
if there is voltage, pull the valve cover and ensure that the belt hasn't broken.

did you check to see if you were getting voltage to the distributor? it is a very important step. because if you are, it is either the distributor/ plug wires is faulty (i know, you tried another) or the timing belt has broken and is therefore not turning the cam, which turns the distributor.

and actually, an easier way to tell if the t belt has broken, rather than pulling the valve cover, is to pull the distr. cap off and crank the motor. if the distr. rotor doesn't turn, the belt is done

i put a test light on the black with yellow stripe wire going into the distributor and it lit up. my timing belt is good, checked it buy taking the cap off and the rotor was spinning.

and you're sure the distributor you tried was good? i mean, did it come out of a working car? reason i can't see it being the main relay is that you have power at the distributor. that signal ultimately comes from the main relay

The "shotgun" approach of replacing everything associated with the ignition system will get you nowhere fast. It's just going to cause frustration and confusion and cost more money than is necessary. Unless you can be absolutely sure that the parts you're swapping in are fully functional then you're not really ruling out anything.

I had the exact same problem recently. Power to the distributor but zero spark. I suspected the ignition module/igniter was faulty, which seemed like a reasonable assumption, and replaced it with a new one. No change. That led me to believe it was the coil, so I replaced it with a new one. Again, no spark.

I swapped the original igniter back in, with the new coil, and it fired right up. The replacement igniter was faulty out of the box and I wasted a great deal of time chasing false leads as a result.

open up your distributor. and with a test lighr check if you have power from your ignition module to your coil. the fine some vary to keep the testlight on the ignition swish. or coil whe ln you thy to start the car if the light blink the the module is no making the coil run. the tlyou may need a new thistributor / coil. or ignition swish. but first start from the battery make sure is fully charge and check for auto zone. the from ther check with a test light the batery terminathen make sure if you si a nad. locking fuse just changed for a new one then from ther to the driver side fuse box then from there to the ignition swich you may have a bad ignition swich.ls the from ther to the fuse box ttmb
