Default Why is my car jerking when switching gears?

Lately I have noticed my ’98 seems to have a difficult time switching gears. I drive an auto but I have been feeling the car almost jerk when switching gears. What could be causing this? Thank you for your help and opinions!!!

hm... does it jerk hard? it could be loose tranny mounts, but it don't see that happening on 98's though...

Driveshaft? Maybe your CV boot is torn and the shaft has a bunch of play in it. I think that's what's wrong with mine. I'm installing a new halfshaft this week. Look at your boots.
