After z6 to y8 intake manifold swap, fuel rail cap does not match up

i was swapping intake manifolds from z6 to y8. and found out that the top fuel rail cap dosent match up,anyone know what will? will a b8 work?

you probably need a 96-00 rail. I noticed this before. I was going to just drill a hole but there wasn't a spot to drill one of them...

I believe you do need a rail from a y8. They are not interchangeable.

The Y8 rail will be needed for the best results. But when I did the manifold swap back in the day I just drill holes in the rail (not the fuel filled portion obviously) that matched up with the Y8 manifold's and then used longer bolts to secure it.
