ok so I am completely new to tuners I have a 1989 CRX with CAI exhaust and stage one clutch. I picked it up for $2500 I dont think it was a bad deal. Im looking to get some more horsepower out of it with out breaking my wallet and with out taking the engine out of the car. Im thinking of going with a fly wheel and pulley kit? any other sugestions?

 

Don't mess with the pulleys, and your flywheel is fine, too. If u just got the car, I'd make sure the suspension, brakes, etc is good to go before u add power. Later on, u could do a mini-me, or boost it...

 

x2. Don't mess with those pulley kits or your flywheel. Maybe get it resurfaced and balanced.

 

Skip the underdrive bs. A lightweight flywheel affects the vehicles personality more than it affects actual power.

Does it have a/c and do you want to keep it? Do you have to pass the sniffer?

 

yes the car has a full after market coilover suspension im working on the brakes right now. How much would a mini me swap caust me? and no i dont have to go through emisions
