Default Need help asap. New clutch not engaging

Hey guys. I have a new motor for my car ls/vtec and am mating it to a b16 J1 cable tranny. I just installed a Comp Clutch for a 90 integra ls (which i searched and found this was correct for this tranny)

When i bolted the trans to the engine, i can move the clutch arm completely up and down easily BY HAND! and it seems that the throughout bearing is not hitting the pressure plate fingers.

Any idea what could be wrong? I did not put in the new t/o bearing but am thinking it might be different than the one currently installed (from an exedy organic). Please give me ideas cause i need this engine installed tomorrow.

I've never worked on a cable clutch car, but I believe you should be able to move the clutch fork without the clutch cable connected. The cable keeps it against the pressure plate fingers, no?
