Default Trans lurching in my 94 Civic... Help plz!!!

I have a 94 DX with probably close to 200K miles on the transmission (not sure exactly, the mileage on the dash corresponds to the motor, not the body).

The problem: Every now and then, maybe every 3-4 times I drive, the transmission lurches really badly. It doesn't do it at all in reverse, but then when I shift into first, it jumps. It happens between the accelerator being pushed in and amount and not pushed in at all. For instance, I was stuck behind someone doing like 10 mph on my road and my car was lurching all over the place because I was constantly on and off the gas pedal.

I have no clue. Any ideas?

Sounds like you either have bad motormounts or don't know how to drive stick.

It's definitely not the latter.

How would bad motor mounts cause this?

I checked the motor mounts. They seem to be fine, no excess wear, the rubber is in good shape, the engine really doesn't move when the throttle is opened up, etc.

Back to the drawing board. Did some more research and found that it could be something with the CV joint (just replaced the drivers side) or the differential case (worn pinion shaft or worn driveaxle bore). So I guess there's my next step.

Anyone other ideas to throw onto the table?

EDIT: Reading a bit deeper into Honda-Tech (https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/engine-%22bucking%22-2386687/) it could also be the TPS or distributor so I guess I'll check those first.
