thats a pretty good price for a clean gsr DA ive seen worst people selling ls DA with just basic bolt ons and rust for 3000.

Start asking the basic questions rust, milage, accidents, clean title etc. Ask whatever comes to your mind make. Don't just make a quick purchase trust me that could ruin your day. Check everything when i say everything even check under the car if you can the tie rods listen for any knocking or ticking if you ever go look at the car. if the car is bucking, bogging or anything like that or making any weird noise while your driving ask what it is dont be scared lol. Honestly i like the car if you really like it go look at it i would.

Good Luck

get a better price

I'm sure he's flexible. DB2's are one of my favorite cars. I will once again have a DA9 or DB2 in the future. I loved the interior better than my current GSR

I always have a mechanic go over any used car I am about to buy, spending $50-$100 to do so is well worth it, especially if he finds something that will cost a lot to repair, it also puts you into a better bargaining position if there are a number of "little" things wrong.

As for what to look for, general condition of the car, a sign the car has been taken care of is a clean car, clean outside, clean inside, clean engine bay.

Check for rust, on Honda/Integra check the rear wheel arch, pull the edge trim off and see how bad the rust is, the edge trim is a "folded" strip of plastic/rubber pushed onto the inside lip of the rear wheel arch, it is where the car will start rusting first.

Check the hatch, [spare tire well] for signs of water, [leaking tail light gasket's or plugged sun roof drain].

Take it for a test drive, check all functions, test drive it to a mechanic and have him go over the car, a seller who would not let me do that would not be selling the car to me. 94

above all, check for rust. mechanical issues (if not too serious) are a good bargaining tool, but rust in excess, is unacceptable, IMO.

i dont know if they're rarer than clean titled Type Rs (definitely not as many people selling them), but that's a good deal on a DB2

make sure the struts and springs are what he claims they are, a lot of people often overlook this since they're hard to see with the car lowered.

its a great deal for a rare car if youre looking to keep it like that ...
but if you want a project id just buy a DA for muchmuch cheaper and the you wont feel bad about tearing it apart.

mmm...you can get dc2 gsr's for the same cash. it's not a bad deal. it's just more of a "do you really want a car that old" deal

I know the owner. He knows he could get more for that car so I doubt he'd lower the price. He even says in the ad that he won't sell it for less than $3,000. Kind of shocked it's for sale at all. He loves 2G Integras and he wanted that car really bad.

It's a good car from what I've seen. Paint needs to be cleaned up a little bit and there's some scratches on the front bumper. Overall a nice car.

I'd encourage anyone buying it to not molest it, but I know that's unlikely.

You don't need the original engine. If it's a GSR engine, it's a GSR engine. For most it just does not matter.
