Default Canadian Civic Alternator

I know on EKs Canadian civics have a different alternator. Is it the same with EFs?

Also with an american alternator could i just use an american alternator with an american belt or do i need the canadian one?

canada has nothing to do with what alternator you use. it goes by motor and year. any 88-91 ef alternator will work.
