Type-R Stolen...
Another one bites the dust.
The car is a 1998 Acura Integra Type-R, number 725. It was mostly stock with only a Cusco rear sway bar, J's Racing valve cover and strut tower bar, Mugen Racing II steering wheel, Toda valve springs, and an ARC titanium shift ****.
Stolen in Atlanta, GA last Sunday morning at 3:00am. It was inside an apartment complex near the intersection on Monroe and Piedmont Ave. A guy was seen with the hood open trying to shut off the alarm. He told a witness, "This is my friends car. He's drunk inside his apartment looking for his keys. I'm just trying to help him get it started." The witness bought the story and didn't call the police.
The witness got a good look at the guy and could ID him if need be.
So keep an eye out for any sketchy parts/people please.
Thieves really are the scum of the earth. I wish I was the person that the thief sold his story to, and not the oblivious witness. It's kind of mind blowing that no one called the police in a crowded apartment at 3am. I was told the alarm was going off for about 30 mins. Such a crappy feeling...
Cary.

Other than that, nothing. I guess I got too comfortable with leaving my car out of sight. The one time I do that, its gone...
thieves are that brazen, the guy was probably super calm and didnt give a *** as to who would question him. if the alarm was going off for 30 min, he obviously took his time and wasnt as quick as some prof thieves.
if i walked in on someone trying to steal my **** i probably would be so full of adrenaline and anger i could black out and really do some damage to another human being's face and limbs....and not even realize it til after.
thieves should be treated like the old days and strapped to tree naked in the middle of town for everyone to take turns torturing.

So sorry to hear... I know the feeling.
I'd be so paranoid living in an apartment complex... They actually found my car stripped in a shoddy apartment complex.
