I kind of wanted to get gold emblems for my Integra to be a little different, and I saw a beat up Integra around town that had stock ones, so I assume they were an option. I asked at my Honda dealerhsip, but only one of the three is still availale. Any good places to track down these parts? or any other vehicles that would have interchangeable ones? I also thought polished copper badges would be kinda cool, but wasnt sure if the stock badges could be copper plated? I have a '95 Special Edition in Isle Green Pearl.

 

If you reaaaallllyyy want to go ahead and do that, and nothing could change your mind....then...

You can always spray paint them whatever color you want.

Process:

Sand down
Primer coat (to make spray paint stick better)
Spray whatever color you want using Autozone, Pepboys, RSstrauss, Walmart etc rattle cans.

Would i do this...............uh....NO. But it is your car, so you are entitled to paint your emblems gold/copper/pink/red/ or any other color you choose

Not sure where to buy the gold ones, but I've definitely seen them. I'd try calling other close honda dealerships and see if they could possibly ship it to you or your dealership. Gold emblems would look nice on a green teg though..

IDK about copper though, I think it would look like you had gold before but they got messed up! lol.. id have to see it though I guess..

 

there is two tegs driving around here with gold emblems. both of witch are green. If i was you id have them gold plated instead of painted.

 

Ya, I wasnt real sure about copper, it was just an idea. I will have to try and contact some other Honda dealerships, see what they can do. Painting would kinda be a last resort, and Ive seen chrome paint, but its pretty shitty, so not sure if i could find a decent gold to look OEM. I will have to look into having them plated too, although was hoping to find new ones, with the original stickies on the backs.

 

I can get the gold emblems still at my acura store Kinda pricey but still available

 

go 2 a junkyard bro. I think they came stock "gold plated color" on some Accords. And you'll get them for like .50

 

Junkyards are another place I should try, theres a big Honda/Acura one about three hours away. I live in Oregon however, and I havent seen a third generation Integra at any wreckingyard Ive been to, let alone one with gold badges in reasonable shape. It is another place to look though. I'm looking for Acura badges, not Honda. How pricey we talkin? lol

I've looked on ebay before, but I want emblems that are a match to the size and style of the stock ones. Unless there are emblems from another Acura model that share the same dimensions.

i know they came gold on red acura cl tl and rl's mid to late 90's as well to broaden your scope

 

I think those other models have emblems with different dimensions, but its worth looking. My friend has a '96 3.2TL and I believe we've compared emblems before and they dont match.

Ya, I'm not into the ricey look, my car has a few modifictations, but nothing that detracts from it. Just trying to improve it with OEM parts, and bring out more of the luxury side of Acura.
