Okay, sorry for the un-clarified title here. Lol. I have a 97 ek hatch, that I was getting ready to pull the motor out. It had a y7 in it, now my question is the d series bracket mount that bolts underneath(two 14mm bolts) were rusted to sh*ts. I used my breaker bar, sprayed even bp blasted, and they still ended not breaking lose .. instead, the nut I am assuming thats inside that body frame broke itself loose of the chassis. Is there anyway to get that out ? Because it's just going to rattle around in there and I don't want that.

 

Anybody ?

 

cut the head off the bolt with a angle grinder,
take off bumper support thingy on front,
fish out the rattley with little magnet on a stick.
