which coilovers should I use for my 4th gen?
im thinking about going with skunk 2 or ground control. I just bought some 16" rota c8 wheels and now I want to eliminate most or all of the fender gap.
I had coil overs(off ebay at that!!) because I wanted to drop my car hella- big mistake. I have since gotten past that stage of bottoming out over everything and I bought some good quality springs. My advice: don't but coilovers if they are the ghetto ones(seperate from the strut), you'll start hearing you car make some of the worst noises even over a slight bump
I have Skunk2 on my car ( 95 V-tec)
I found out the hard way that is is NECESSARY to do the shocks too.
Now I have the Skunk2 Coilovers and Tockiko Illumina Shocks and they work really great together.
My advice is, when lowering your car try to get the best parts you can possibly afford and do it all right cause bouncing around and bottoming out everyday will really suck...believe me

you will end up blowing your shocks within a few months, and then the car will ride like ****.
ground controls are the best.. but if you are more into looks than performance, just go for the skunk2.
or better yet just buy drop springs for like $150. pick up some cost effective shocks (KYB AGX) for like $350. then youre set.
