Power Steering
So I was replacing #15 (see picture) due to a leak.

Somehow I installed it with the nipple end of the gasket and power steering cover facing N instead of W (in reference to picture) and then drove to see if that solved my leak. Well obviously it didn't and it wasn't till I pulled over and noticed fluid all over that I had incorrectly installed the cover. I corrected my mistake and then went out for a test drive once again. Well the leak isn't there any more but neither is my power steering. I have bled the system by turning the wheel side to side both while on the ground and while the two front wheels are lifted. I am thinking I allowed too much air in the system and that it killed the pump. I really don't feel like spending 100$ on a new one, so any ideas?
