Can a 94-01 Integra shift linkage be shortened and used on an EF?
I always notice that people say to cut a 90-93 Integra shift linkage. However, I'd rather use the heavier duty 94-01 Integra piece. Is there something about the bends that necessitates the use of the DA linkage instead of the DB/DC linkage? I'm replacing the TRASH Hasport shift linkage (1,500 miles and the bushings at the "universal joint" are already worn out????) and just want to modify an OEM piece since they seem to last a lot longer. Not in the mood to locate an SiR linkage; this is why I want to just cut and weld...
Any first hand experiences appreciated. Not interested in my friend's friend's friend did this input.
