Custom Fog Lights - Howto?
Hey everybody,
I want to put foglights on my Integra, but I don't like the OEM fogs. Like someone else said, we've already got four circle lights on our front end, do we really want six? Anyway, I recently put clear corners on my Integra and tinted them and I had clear bulbs in there for a bit. At night, I really like how this looks, with the headlights and parking lights on. So I'm wondering how I would go about putting foglights into this area? I guess the biggest issues are custom design, heat ventilation, and relocation of the turn signal bulbs (you could just have the foglights blink when you hit the turn signal?).
Anyway, all help is appreciated and here is an image to show you what I'm thinking:

Thanks,
Ben

... Hrmm ... Are you saying that it would look bad (let's say "ricey"), or it would work badly because it would melt the bumper?
How do the tinted corners look?

WTF is that supposed to mean, Jsracingintegra? If you are for some reason insulting what I have "done" to my car, then I guess you don't like stock Tegs because that's basically the look of mine. Mmm... All ADM (American Domestic Market) All the Time.
You Know Me: pretty much like that, but in the innermost area of the corner lense assembly. That looks like it is lit up a bit closer to the corner than I was wanting.

Sorry but I just had to comment, who decides that taking a picture infront of McDonalds is a good idea? Out of all the place you could possibly take a picture of your car? Why in front of McDonalds with the huge big M there?

It's not my car and I didn't take the picture, I just saw it another thread talking about fog lights.
I live in CA where their all strict on everything.. I don't know about "relocating" the turn signal lights.. that doesn't sound legal...even if you put foglight bulbs in the parking light/turn signal lens it'd probably be real bright and get you pulled over/cited... I dunno man..
having the fog lights blink on and off will greatly reduce the bulb life... I had a friend in college who hooked up his fog lights to the alarms parking light flasher.. he was replacing bulbs quite frequently...

Yeah I sure wouldn't sacrifice my turn signals for fog lights, I have seen some people put city lights in the headlights and have them blink like turn signals and not get pulled over. Or you could always wire the fog lights so that they blink like a turn signal too, then you have both your problems solved...
You could probally fit some small lights in the current lense. Like cut out the top or bottom of the lense. the metal or plastic part. "not the clear part" mount a small fog inside by attacthing the fog to the part you cut out. Put it back in and wala Total Stealth action
