I've got a 91 integra that lowered on ebay spring/sleeves-tokico blues.

1st off it rides like junk almost cant keep it on the interstate above 75mph.

I relize that this is the cheap out and you get what you pay for. At first i ran it low as it could clear which ends up bout 3in drop. I then raised back up 2in drop and it rides slightly better but i can feel that it just hits bump stops every little crack in road.

*either way ive broken 3 axles in the last few months.....

Is this just bad remans from advanced or maybe my borbet wheels? offset to far or something???



Anyone else have these problems with axles and or recommend a spring that has better "rates" for street! Maybe tophats or complete coils along with upgraded axles are the only way to do right.$$$

 

Being that low can cause problems with axles binding. Take a peek at your motor mounts as well. Bad mounts can lead to broken axles too. Look up Progress if you want a good coilover for not a lot of money.

Since your car is 20 years old now, look into replacing all the worn out bushings and ball joints and so on.

Save up the money to do it all at once and you'll be amazed at the difference.

Never thought of motor mounts very good TIP never thought of that!

Huh ...how do you prevent binding if your ridin uber low possible to check??
