whats up fellow HT members!

i've recently purchased a rolling shell for $800 bucks

the body needs a little love but most importantly no rust at all!! so i've made my dicision lets do this build right! im doing a full color change to ebp si blue... and YES im doing all the body work and paint i've took time off of work for december to get this started!

although this build is more for looks rather than performace... this is why i have my hatch for the other reason..


so enough with the talking lets show you with what im working with!













so with my luck me and a friend found a 95 integra LS for 300 bucks so we went half on the car i took the swap he took the interior to swap out his crappy tan interior the rest we sold localy.. made my money back which equals a free ls swap!





so my same friend works for town fair i told him i needed to source some rims to my likeing and to get a good stance i had visioned lol so i picked up a pair of axis og sans for a hell of a deal! im picking up tires aswell yokahama prada spec 2's... thanks Brian!!

yesterday my full nose mask came from honda kinda bumed i couldnt find the civic si logo nose mask but regular civic will do

 

also guys im looking for a few things

-99-00 ex or dx engine harness uncut
-99-00 si front lip oem
-obd2b Ls 00-01 integra ecu for emission purposes

i was thinking all day at work today on what i should set my priorities to for this build

i have came down to a delema i want this build to be different not common aswell

so i have parts left over from a midori ej6 hatch i sold recently i have original 96-98 siR headlights and bumpers and i have someone lined up to trade my rear hatch bumper for a original 4 door rear siR bumper which will fit my coupe... i also have for this build are ctr power folding mirrors... and a 96-98 oem civic hood bra from honda i rock hood bras on all my civics lol now should i degrade my front end to a 96-98 to get that siR look or be like evryone else and make a si replica wooptie doo! not so interesting anymore.... painting the car championship white with the siR look i beleive would compliment the car and look a little more "my style" please i need some input here! problem is i have all the parts to do it

Car is looking good.

That LS swap looks like it can use some love. ( also the obd2b will look for ckf sensor, wich the obd1 swap you have doesnt have. read on installing the sensor( obd2 oil pump setup or ckf bypass ).

regarding yoru dilemma, what do you prefer ? the 99-00 look or the SIr ?

HAving a 99-00 I would just sell the SIR setup you have and buy stock new pieces for your car. ( probably will work out even cheaper after you sell your current parts ).

 

yea i have read up on the ckf sensor and i have that situated..

honestly i might go with the siR look yea its a 99 but this is to my prefferance i guess making it stick out from the rest which i never seen the sir bumpers on a coupe in my area

i already have the rear sir bumper i need since i traded the hatch bumper for the 4door bumper... the 00 front end i can keep or sell and i have a 96-98 hood in the shed along with fenders i never knew i had

for the ls swap im taking off all the sludge and grim on the engine and trans.. gunna clean it up and give it a coat of paint

I'm having the same dilemma as you bro, except, mine is a 98. I can get a 2000 front end for $200 and go with the whole Si look that everybody likes (which will sell faster if I ever decide to sell it), or go with the SiR look and be different/stand out. I can get both front and rear SiR bumpers for $380. Well i'm sure we'll figure something out, lol. GLWB!

 

Yea I'm ditching the si look and going with the siR look. I'm trying to be different I will have pics up tommarow. Did a test fit with the front end this morning and its looking good lol I say do it man it looks really good but of course everyone has their opinions... btw happy thanksgiving to everyone!!
