Icon3 1990 honda accord

I was wonderin if someone can help me out....i can't seem to get into first nd second gear....some ppl said its my sychrinizer but i don't kno where tht is...i can can get into 3,4,5 nd rev with no problem...can someone help me out

Is it a manual or auto? That would really help.

It might be your Synchros if its a manual. Synchros are inside the transmission itself.

First thing would be the fluid. Do the easy stuff first before you move onto bigger things like replacing the tranny or digging into the clutch assembly. I'd do a trans flush first by using Amsoil GM Synchromesh. Thats what I'm using and it shifts like butter.

Now will tht help out with problem tht i might b havin or i would still hav to dig in the tranny...never mess with it nd kinda scare of messin with it....but if its nothing to it, could u like giv me step by step on doin it on my own or can u giv me the site tht would show me how to do it...do u think its best for to just change the transmission....the Haynes repair manual doesn't show ne thing...oh i appreciate for the info

Sounds like a bent/broken shift fork, again its inside the transmission.

check the slave cylinder too....if a bolt has wiggled itas way loose it may be hitting the shift fork at an angle
