Default Crank pulley question....

i have a friend with a b20, recently his bolt came loose and the pulley was just wiggling around(who knows how)... but it stripped the bolt and stripped the splines inside the crank pulley and broke the Key... i purchased the key/pulley already for him and still in search for the bolt because its on backorder from honda but my question is... where the actual pulley goes on... its smooth.. is it suppose to have something that splines onto the pulley? or was it smoothed out too...

I'd say your screwed! The sprocket is supposed to have teeth and a slot for the key. What you should be asking is, How do I replace the crank pulley sprocket? I would suggest you post this in the tech forum.

Good luck!
