Default My 2002 Si with Red Emblems Question

So I've got a 2002 Honda Civic Si. It's euro-gold in color and when I bought it in 2006 it came with red honda emblems on the back (small one) and on the front (big one). It also has blinker lights on the side beneath each side mirror.

Anyways, a guy came up to me today and said that it was an "R" model if those emblems were stock and something about it being JDM. He said to check out the VIN and see if it was an R model, but my VIN info just says 2002 Civic si. I'm wondering if anyone knows anymore about this so that if/when I choose to sell it I can ask for more if it's in fact worth more than a standard Si.

Thanks in advance,
Beesh

lol yeah looks like its just red emblems but if you wanna know for sure check the engine ## if it says k20a3 then for sure it's not a type r

the mirrors with blinkers on them!
i wanted those before i decided it'd be too much trouble to get my hands on them and not worth the money!

Type-r would have a red valve cover, black dip stick, chrome oil cap, and not say Si on the front grille

I'm Suprised no one said Type R's have the drivers side on the right side lolz. Unless its a USDM Integra that is.

yup thats why it would be cool to get a german type-r and import it somehow, so have a true R but wont have to deal with the RHD issues(though i am sure there are worse issues to deal with that RHD).
