Now for my problem. I got a 1995 Honda Accord EX F22b1 vtec engine. The car has the dreaded idle bounce. It goes from 1200~2300 rpm and back again. At first i thought i was the IAC valve and replaced it. Worked fine for a couple of days then started again with the problem. Then i checked the FITV and it seems to be fine. ok. So i thought it might be the IAC was defective (got it used) so i got another one. Same thing. So i think its probably a vacuum leak so i take and replace the intake manifold gasket, plenum gasket, tb gasket and injector seals. Nothing, still same problem. But i do notice is that if i spray carb cleaner around inj #2 and #3 that the car will bog down to the point that it will die. Same thing around the plenum. I checked the vacuum and its giving me 24 in of vacuum. Base idle is about 1200 and wont go down from that. Cooling system is bled properly. Should i replace the IM gaskets again and probable double up? Intake Manifold warped?? any suggestions? This is seriously driving me crazy!!
