i just recently bought the integra and am trying to learn what i should do first to get it faster.
this is my first car and am still learning the ropes about cars. advice?

 

buy a hanes manual it will help you alot
and just read ALOT. you will get the hang of it easy

 

if im trying to clean my CAI filter what am i suppossed to use to clean it

 

start off with the basics.

for bolt ons, look at intake (done if you have a cai) exhaust, headers, intake, etc.

although suspension doesn't make your car any quicker neccessaily, it will make it more fun to drive. look into springs and shocks or coilovers as well as things like tie bars, sway bars, lower control arms, etc. if you look around, you can pick this stuff up at a fraction of the cost of new.

 

read first. then read some more. then, and only then, spend money based on what you've read.
i usually like to start by making sure that my foundation is up to par. it only makes sense.
do some research on how to properly maintain the vehicle, then have a look at your own foundation
