"performance" plugs and wires to cheap???
Hey guys, so my mechanic recommended I buy some ngk laser platinum plugs next time I swap em out. Happened upon this auction for supposed performance plugs and wires, and was wondering if it would be worth it to snag a set. Seems cheap but then again Im not sure. Let me know what ya peeps think....

wow. that's really cheap. if they need to be replaced anyways, i'd say go for it. even if they don't, i'd still get them. they're gonna need to be replaced at some point..
I usually just buy NGK Iridiums at Napa or Orielly's. My NGK wires I bought for almost $60 has a lifetime warranty.

cant go wrong with ngk. i heard some company makes sparkplugs that actually add tons of horsepower and they are like 25 each. i forgot the name though
yes. and they provide natural boost through your oil pressure. but if you arent careful youll destroy youre denunder valve and cause piston eruption through the interal wastegate valve of your head studs. forcing the piston rods through the block, in through the fire wall and into youre skull

You might be thinking of those Pulsar... Pulstar... Something like that... for the HP bump. My buddy bought them and said they were crap (in his Ford Focus). Definitely not worth the money though.
OP: Vision Motorworks makes ok products... I have their front camber kit. The ball joints were crap but the actual A arm is pretty good. Just replaced the joints with Skunk2 adjustable's and they were good to go.

I recommend NGK V-power copper core plugs BKR6E-11. Change 'em out every 10K-15K miles, takes like 5 minutes to do.
Copper is the best electrical conductor, and I've been running these plugs almost as long as I've had my car, nearly 10 years now.
I also have the NGK blue plug wires, on my second set now in 200K miles. Those big aftermarket plug wires really do nothing.

i always recommend the NGK G-power platinum plugs for NA cars, i run them in everything i own, and always see improved results, for boosted cars NGK V-power copper and no substitute. But that kit your looking at on ebay is a no name brand set of plug wires along with a pack of the ngk plugs. Your better off getting the stuff at the parts store and going with a better brand set of plug wires.

only thing i use now
The GP Platinums go for less than 12$ a set
Those other plugs are junk, ESSPECIALLY the ones that "add hp"
A fresh set of ngk G-Power plugs have been dyno proven to perform better than HKS plugs in the forums somewhere and HKS was claimed the best design.....
And look on ebay for APC wires they've been discontinued and run 20-30$ including shipping. When in production they were made by the same company that made MSD wires supposably..
