Icon2 Stock GSR Intake VS Aftermarket?! Help

So im looking to get an intake for my stock gsr.... But i've heard and looked up the iab situation, and does anyone know of quality intakes that will not cost me my low end torque when "upgrading" my intake?.. or do i really have to get a new manifold to do so?.. thanks for the help!

THe IAB's are there for low to midrange torque and power. The stock GSR IM is known to be a really good piece if ported, but If you are just looking for top end power, The ITR style is all you got left. Anything bigger you will need the supporting mods. anything else will hurt your performance. I say, keey the GSR IM, and have it ported down the road, OR buy your self a Blox, SK2. Make sure its for the GSR. IM Bolts won't line up with anything else without modification.

The GSR manifold is one of the best to use for good midrange. It was designed for just that, while sacrificing some top end, as opposed to the ITR/b16 manifolds.

Any intake that you put on it will be ok. If you are interested, I have an AEM v2 from my last GSR that I will be putting up for sale soon. PM me if you want to know more.

yeah well right now im not looking to replace the mani.. just trying to find a good intake/filter for it without losing that low-mid range torque..(just heard that putting some intakes on, might sacrifice that low-mid range torque)
