Everyone in here needs to tell the people they ride with to get on this web site. Honda sells more freekin rockets than anyone this place should be full of people posting. I always tell my riding buddies to get on here. I'm sick of looking at the same posts every day. Be a post ***** if you have to. he he he.

 

This is true...unfortunately this small forum isn't that much compared to sportbikes.net and all the other big ones out there. I'm sure most of the riders are lurking on there.

People stumble upon this site mainly for cars, the bike section is just an added bonus.

 

This is not my favourite forum, and definately not for bikes. I checked out as I've had a lot of Honda bikes, currently a fuel injected XX.

I came onto Honda-tech.com to find out some information about creating a Hybrid or Turbo 4WD Odyssey. I got some replies but they contradicited each other.

Basically many of the posts seem more like people showing off (even if it's someone esles car pics they are claimming for their own!).
A lot of the replies are cryptic if not outright rude.
Users like EK99 can get away with the sort of crap he was posting and no problem.
There is no real database of information.
One can search through the forums but what confidence can you have in what is there?

I first got on this web site b/c I had a 2000 Si but I sold it I figured I would stick around b/c there are some bike guys on here. I need to find a new place to b.s. about bikes I guess. Most of the people that I have met off of H-T are complete ding-dongs so I guess it would not kill me if I looked alse where. Sorry for all the folks that are not ding-dongs.

 

Going to the dealer on Friday to hopefully get a deal on an 02' Ninja ZX-6R, red. I am ordering my gear tomorrow via online, and hope to be riding this weekend!

 

lol...there are a lot of cool motorcycle people that dont post but just drop by and lurk around. this board will always get most of its posting from car people that stop in. thats fine though...its actually slowly getting busier over time now.

The people I ride with belong to sportbikes.net and that is the only site. I understand why they do not post on here b/c of people like EK99. The lack of knowledge that he holds bikes is funny, but it upsets me b/c he is a new rider and he acts like he can ride. By doing that he puts his and others lives in danger.

BTW anyone have a suomy b/c i am tryng to get the side covers and the visor off?

i think if you get past most of the bs posts this site is cool.. and it acts like a true bbs for people who actually know each other.. sbn is def cool.. but for cars h-t actually works the same way as sbn.. at least in dfh. there is alot of stunner stuff on both h-t and sbn, but if you get past it, there is sometimes some genuinely usefull stuff on both sites.. like in life, there are stunnaz and bs in at least some level everywhere.. avoiding them is impossible.. unless we have a super secret honda society.. lol
