Default 2001 Gsr Tran problem. Car lunges forward.

Installed a thought to be good tranny with clutch throwout bearing, fork, and slave cylinder all known to be working. Pressure plate is tightened properly but when started the car wants to roll forward slightly. i can shift through the gears but feels almost as if the tranny itself is stuck in gear. Is this possible at all? Thanks for any input it is much appreciated.

Your clutch is dragging - improperly/unevenly torqued or simply bad.

If you can shift through the gears, you're not stuck in one.

Clutch problem.

Is it only cold? Could be to thick of an oil or if the trans sat for a while out there could be rust or build up in between the bearings and shafts making them stick instead of roll free. If it does it in neutral then its deff not a clutch issue but if your clutch down and in gear and it wants to pull foward the its clutch.

It could be the clutch master cylinder, is there any loose play on your clutch pedal?
