EF8 conversion
Whats goin on, just purchased an EF8 front end and
i am under the impression that the stock fenders you can
use but what about the oem hood. I have the jdm bumper, support,
T bracket and headlights. Will i need a japanese hood or will
the OEM hood match up with the jdm t bracket. Also i am trying
to get clear corners and unsure which style to get considering the
US corners are obviously different between the 88-89 and 90-91
both mounting points. Which corner lights will match the jdm
headlights.
Sorry if this question is hard to understand, any help would be greatly
appreciated.
I am not stateside right now and dont have the resources i need
to do this, like seeing the headlights for myself. thanks guys in advance.

If you have the EF8 headlights, they have the proper mounting for the 90-91 style corner lens's, so any usdm corners should fit.
You "will" need an EF8 hood, as they are longer!
You can reuse your fenders, they are exactly the same, just no side marker

I've never done a conversion myself, but isn't there a difference with the JDM and USDM headlights? I remember seeing somewhere that the JDM headlights are longer which require the JDM hood. Like I said, I don't have first hand experience with this, I just remember seeing a thread with pics.
I would love to post progression pics guys, i come home
in 3 months and the car will already be painted with installation.
from what ive gathered its no big deal. 30 min with all parts.
