When you start tinkering with the suspension on an older car (or a high mileage car), it's likely you are going to start hearing some sounds.
Lowering your car puts increased strain on certain parts and will cause them to wear faster. What can you expect? It wasn't designed from the factory that way, so it's going to work in a different way than the parts were designed for. It's just something you have to get used to.
Just about every car that I've been in that is lowered (even slightly like mine, 1 inch) makes some suspension related sounds at least every once in a while. Others may be lucky and hear basically nothing, but if you are wondering if hearing sounds are uncommon, they aren't.
So if your ball joints and bushings are in good shape and working properly, then your good. You can start replacing every part that just makes noise if you want, but I promise you'll just turn your car into a money pit.
