Whats up people, i have a 05 EP3 with 02-03 tail swap. I can get a good deal on brand spankin new 04-05 taillights. The reason i swapped to 02-03 tails was because i used to loathe the 04-05 tails thinking they looked ricy. Thinking about it now and seeing some 04-05 EP3s rolling around...im starting to like the updated look they give the EP3.

02-03 tails:
*clean/classic looking

04-05 tails:
*fresh/futuristic/updated looking

Should i swap back to the 04-05 tails or keep the 02-03, input and opinions needed.
(Yes i know i should make my own decision and i will, just want some feedback)

In my Opinion the 02-03 look better I would stick with them

 

Everybody usually does the opposite by buying or keeping the 02-03...

 

Or do what I did... get the 02-03 JDM tail lights

 

Keep 02-03 tail ligths unless getting jdm tail lights...

 

I'm debating doing this myself, are all the connectors the same for the jdm joints?

Get some 04-05 JDM tails with reverse fogs

 

They're not the same, you have to order new light connectors from Honda and re-wire it. I don't remember the part numbers and everything though, but there should be a DIY on ephatch.com.

 

While the OEM 04-05 tails have an altezza style/look to em, i like the fact they have amber turn signals at the top. The 04-05 JDM tails are all clear/red which makes me think of the aftermarket altezzas that are rice.

I like the 02-03 styling the most aside from not having the side skirts. I really don't like the 04-05 headlights and I think the tails are on the ricey side. I'd stick with what you have!
