I have a 06 Civic Hybrid and it has started to idol really low then jumps back up. It stays between 700 and 1400 but will do it at stop lights or when I first start it up. It does not seem to have any thing to do with the weather or how long the car has been running. Sometimes it is in the AM and others at a light after I have been running her for a few hours. Any insight would be wonderful.

 

I would check on the throttle body and the accelerator pedal to see if the wire harness's are plugged in or loose first.

Maybe unplug them and see if the pins look OK, possibly one has come loose or lost contact.

I'm not sure what type Idle control that car has, could be something like an idle control solenoid or a vacuum controlled idle control valve (IAC).
