Ok so the marks are like this right? . .... which one do i put i on the timing line? for a 1990 integra ls i have a b20b in it now, but ithink the timing mark would still be on the same dot.
Do some research before you attempt to time your car. For your mechanical timing both lines on each cam gear must line up with eachother (facing towards eachother with both "UP" marks up), and the mark on the crank pulley needs to be lined up with the mark on the timing cover (representing TDC on CYL #1). For ignition timing use your timing gun and adjust your distributor to 16 BTDC... or you can Retard your timing 16 degress and let us know how red your exhaust gets.

So when the lines on the timing gear line up facing each other, shouldnt the mark on the crank pulley be lined up on TDC? how would i move the crank pulley without moving the cam gears out of position?
Correct. Both lines facing eachother with the line on the crank lined up. y]You can not move the crank or oil pump gear without moving the cams. If your off a tooth you need to take the belt off and start over. A little trick I use is to take the cams out along with the cam gears and place the belt on. Then you can angle them forward and put the belt on the oil pump gear. There is a tool to hold the cam gears together so they do not move, but it un-neccessary IMO.
Yo Omar why you tripping bro? Lol jk. When you get the 2 cam gears lined up. Just take the belt off and move the crank with the crank pulley off and just thread in the bolt that hold the crank pulley on and just move it where it needs to be with a ratchet over that bolt.

Haha whats up bank?
Im gonna attempt it tomorrow, ill let you guys know how bad i messed up....lol jk. Im positive i can do this... i just really needed what degree(dot) to adjust it to.

Cam gear teeth should be facing each other, and line up to the horizontal line on the plastic cover behind the cam gears.
The Crank(without the pulley on it) has a line on it, this line should line up with the arrow on the inner plastic cover. If your using the pulley to align the crank, you should put on the outer plastic cover. The SINGLE mark on the pulley should line up with the mark on the outer cover.
Inspect that the tensioner and spring is installed correclty. After that just slip the timing belt on, loosely tighten tensioner (tensioner should still tighten/loosen the belt freely). Turn the crank 3 full rotations counterclockwise to TDC. Turn extra 3 camgear teeth, and while holding the crank in that position tighten the tensioner to 40 ft-lbs.

I was under the impression that all i needed to do is adjust it to TDC hook up the timing gun, loosen up the three bolts on the dizzy and go on from there.
If the timing belt is on correctly then yes just set the timing. You need to put a paperclip in the jumper plug. So the ecu will allow you to set the base timing. I'm assuming 90 integra's have them just like 94+ do.

---------------------------------How to check your CEL code----------------------------------
On the passenger side of your car, under the dash beneath the glove box, you will find a green cover above the kickpanel that houses a blue connector that has two wires.
All that you need to do is turn the ignition off, and using the piece of wire or paperclip, jump the blue connector so that you connect the two wires together. Basically stick one end of the paperclip or peice of wire into one prong on the connector and stick the other end of the paperclip or wire into the other prong.
