Should i trade a 2004 gsxr 750 with 20,000 miles and alot of add on performance parts for a 2000 acura integra with a b20 swap turbo ran a 13.4 in 1/4 mile? lots of parts on teg from type r and its super clean but so is the bike...

Ask the guy your trading what he thinks the value of his car is. then match it to what the value of your bike is. All i can say about the integra is it looks like he used some nce parts on it. Not sure if that helps. just my opinion.

Yeah I wouldn't trust the B20. Its probably going to give you a shitload of problems. Trade anyways and get yourself a stock GSR motor. At least you know what you have done to it and what not.

Not necessarily. B20's aren't worth much. Its not the fact that there is something wrong with it, but it is most likely internally stock. If the tune is fine then there is nothing to worry about. Just take it for a test drive and ask for some compression test results.

 

Test Drive it, get it checked out by a mechanic. My cousin traded his ls with JDM front end for a gsxr awhile back also. I guess some people just wants new toys.

 

B20's are never going to give you a **** load of problems if you have it installed and tuned correctly + knowing how to drive it.

To the OP: What are you needs for it? Do you have another car? Is your bike your only transportation?

If me. I'd would trade him the moment he asked for the deal.

You have 2 options. If you don't wanna keep the car and wanna make some extra cash.

1. Sell the Wheels + seats + motor set up + (Didn't even notice he had ITR rear seats also) + suspensions. Replace it with all stock parts.

Buy yourself another GSXR 750.

There you go another bike + a new car.

2. Sell the wheels, gets some Rotas/XXR. Down payment on another bike.

There you go, another bike + a clean Integra.

I love my gsxr but i but i love my teg more...I would play it smart and check the car out but if it all checks i would act like a fat kid in a buffet

Its almost like stealing candy from a baby... but instead of being candy its an extremely fresh DC2

 

ok so there was a catch. the wheels he didnt wanna trade put some ok looking honda wheels on it. went and test drove it and got back and it had bent 3 valves. I didnt even get on it real hard or anything... so needless to say i was disapointed but can only imagine how the other guy felt.... im pretty sure he knew it was coming... it was just too good of a deal on my end... WHEN IT SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT PROBABLY IS AND IN THIS CASE IT WAS....
