Since your block is already apart and you are putting ITR valves and pistons in, which they do fit. Why not also put ITR camshafts in?

You're boring the block out to 82mm? What size are your ITR pistons? 82?

I would go with something for aggressive then ITR cams. If he's just building it to be identical to the ITR motor then might as well buy a complete ITR longblock from HMO

im not trying to replicate the itr motor just getting a little more comperssion i think it will be 10.8/1 rather then b16 pistons witch are over 11/1. and my buddy says the itr valves are bit lighter and the springs a bit stiffer. im not trying to do a super build just a little better then stock.

Youre going oversized. So better make sure your ITR pistons are 82mm as well before ordering them. Which website are you getting them from?

you do realize you will need a valve job if you buy new valves. just throwing it out there

^^^You still need a valve job in order for them to sit right. No matter if they are aftermarket or OEM, a valve is a valve. They have the same measurements, unless you go oversized.

The primary difference between OEM and lets say Ferrea valves, is the material which they are made from. The ferrea will be much stronger. Sizes vary as well.
