where can i locate a tcm on my 06 civic?
my car was fine till it hit 38000 miles and then my 3rd gear went and along went the 1st now it wont drive forward at all...my reverse works and when my 3rd gear failed i could only drive it on cruise cause then the gears would shift automatically. i dont know if i need to replace my tranny or if its the tcm? where is the tcm located?
I just looked thru the honda service manual and it does not mention or show a TCM but it shows the PCM when looking for trans problems.
The Pcm is just behind the battery.
The Pcm is just behind the battery.
The powertrain control module controls the engine and trans. Have you checked the transmission fluid level?
