Icon2 bearing clearances

when building a high horsepower(300-500whp) honda b series engine do you guys run oe spec bearing clearances on the rods and mains ?

I am rebuilding my ls/vtec (stock ls crank, eagle H beam rods). Can someone give me a link or point me in the right direction?

OEM bearings will work fine. Last I heard ACL's were on a nationwide backorder. If you can find a set of ACL Race Bearings I would go with those.

You will want to run witihn the honda specs for bearings and follow your piston manufacture specs for bore size. I usually get all my acl race bearings off ebay.

That's what I've done and it works great. Over 700whp out of a turbocharged 2.2L and no problems. Generally I'd run about .001" of clearance per 1" of journal diameter, but the big power stuff I run a few tenths looser than that.
