07 honda element gas mileages
so i just bought a automatic 2007 honda element ex, with 50000 miles on it..
i drive pretty conservative with it and do mostly city driving with little highway driving..
i just bought it and i've been monitoring how much miles i get on a full tank of gas before my gas light comes on.. i recently just got done changing spark plugs, changing my oil, replace air filter with knn filter, and seafoaming the engine..
and on a full tank of gas i only get 210 miles before my gas light comes on.. according to my calculations i only get about 15-16 miles per gallon..
this can't be normal.. does anyone have similar problems with there elements?

are you dividing the number of miles driven by the number of gallons of gas it takes to fill up the gas tank? or were you just driving it until you were close to empty and using the number of gallons of gas the tank holds?
it sounds like you were doing the latter just based on your original post. try doing the former for a more accurate reading and report back.

no problem. just reset your trip odometer to 0 when you fill the gas tank. then drive around until you need to/feel like getting gas. then divide the number on the trip odometer by the number of gallons of gas it takes to refill the gas tank.
it will be way more accurate than the method you're currently using.
