I have a 2003 honda odyssey that the drivers side sliding door doesnt latch completely closed. I have replaced the rollers thinking that they were bad(which they were) and creating drag on the door and closure motor, possibly not letting it close the door with full power.

Then i thought maybe the cable just needs adjustment, because the door will close then and motor shuts off but just wont latch and then I wld have to kind of shove it into latch.

Im posting this hopefully to find someone that has had this problem before and if any suggestions or comments wld be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem. There is a motor just for the final latch. I have unjammed it in the past and it worked for a couple of years but now it has stopped again. Probably would have been better to replace the mechanism. Be sure to clean the door contacts as well. Good luck.
