roll cage questions.
I am looking to purchase a weld in roll cage. The guy says i can go through the dash or infront of it. its a 10 point cage im looking for some insight on coming through dash as to infront of it as far as regulations and ease of use.
Thanks in advance

either will pass tech assuming its done correctly. just remember if you run it in front of the dash, the dash will most likely be stuck in the car. if you run it through the dash, you can modify the dash so that it is still removable.
I bought a weld in kit, from www.Brokedickracing.com through dash they advertise it as direct fit for a 92-95 civic hatch, but when I got it it was a pain to get started, I had a friend who installed a couple of cages in American muscle cars before so he knew what to expect.
we had to cut and and notch almost everything, the pillar bars were the worst they were not bent in the same place, and you can notice it if you look directly at the windshield. kit looks like it was made universal for one car to be modified to fit others, never could reach the company ask them for another bar so I had to use what I got.

oh yeah dont make fun of my multi color car, it will be on color soon (GO mango)
