I'm trying to construct the best possible shock combination for my 90 EF (Yes, I know... ED) Sedan possible, using only OEM shocks from a honda that will easily bolt up (not requiring too much modification). The reasons for sticking to OEM has to do with the specific race series I am running the car in, it is a stripped down, purpose built race car.
I've determined that 86-86 accord fronts will be my best option.
I've found out that EG, DC, and EF rear shocks all have the same rates. I assume that EK, and DA rears will be the same or similar.
Does anyone know of a good OEM rear setup to use on the rear that I'm not currently aware of?
Thank you.

s2000 rears will fit. the spring perch is totally off, you might as well use GC sleeves if you can.
if you use integra or later shocks, the spring perch will be off too.
it seems like youre in a non ideal situation with whatever class restriction you have. i hope anyone else reading this doesnt think they can be cheap and use another shock, since its usually best to just get proper shocks for your own vehicle.

yeah, we have some adjustable sleeves, so the perch being a bit off won't be too bad. CTR shocks would seem to be hard to get. The S2000 or civic Si seem a bit more realistic, though I kindof doubt the Si shocks are in fact stiffer.
You can doubt it, that fine. The fact that they came with higher spring rates then a regualar civic helps. . I was told by honda and a few people in here also stated the same.
Try contacting n1concepts,icb,jdmspeedworx. I have no doubt in my mind they could get you CTR shocks and springs.
