Icon6 Creaking Suspension after replacing both front lower control arms and drop links

I've just changed both front lower control arms and drop links on my Civic and the whole thing seems to make a lot of noise and was wondering if anyone knows why this would happen?

Many thanks.

Is anything loose? Is everything properly lubed/torgued up?

Torqued everything as specified in the haynes manual, don't remember seeing anything about grease though.

Helps to know what year Civic you have. Also what are you referring to by the term "drop links"? I've never heard that term associated with Civic suspension.

I've got a 1997 Civic Lsi 1.5 vtec-e (D15Z6 I think) 3dr and the links joint the anti roll bar to the lower control arm and are kind of s shaped.
Many Thanks.

did you preload all the bushings properly? basically the suspension should be fully compressed before you torque everything down. this way all the busings line up like they would under normal driving conditions. makes connecting the sway bars easier too.

I believe so, lifted the control arm ends with a trolley jack.
