I have searched but cannot seem to find exactly where i have to adjust the damper. I would assume you have to adjust damper from the top from the engine bay. I want to know the correct way to adjust damper. Please help me out this is for a 1996 civic and i didnt buy the suspension new. Hence i have no owners manual.

Thanks logz! ill be picking some up in a couple days, one other question i had was its 15 way adjustable. When you turn the small dial you should hear clicks, but my question is when do you know when its back to setting #1?

 

Yes, you will hear/feel a click. You need to turn the dial all the way counterclockwise till it stops to be at the #1(softest) setting. Don't be surprised if you can get 16 clicks, as that is perfectly normal.

 

the manual says never run it on full soft..might be the same for full hard.

 

thank you for that info. i was planning on running on full soft. so maybe 1 click or 2 before full soft then? and the same for full hard?

 

My friend had these, and he would always run a couple clicks from full soft or stiff.
Kind of interesting as to why they say dont though.

 

what does he have it set at? i did 5 clicks front 7 clicks rear havent rode in it yet tho because their not on the car yet

 

5 clicks from full stiff in the rear and I am not sure about the front.

 

one last question. when putting these on what setting should i have these on? i know i must preload the suspension but just wanna make sure i dont mess anything up by having it set at 5 clicks front 7 clicks rear
