I was wondering if anyone was running a harness bar in their CRX 90-91... the ones with the seatbelts in the doors... not the pillars I wanted to know how you set them up and if you had to custom weld in brackets/plates/bolts etc to run it. I am debating of buying one from online OR having my friend help me fab one from stainless steel tubing. Any input would be helpful from those who know anything about this.

 

Sorry, I would be running a 4/5 point harness so seatbelts in the door are going away... hence the need to have a harness bar or something similar.

Straight BUMPIN for any input on this topic. No CRX owners on the site have seatbelt harness bars in their 90-91 CRX's? I was thinking of just welding in mounting points in the pillar where the seatbelt bolt hole would be on a hatch or 88-89 CRX.

not many people use harness bars because theyre really not safe.

i'd only use it if it was temporary for an autox or something.

buy a rollbar.

Did you have to weld in new mounting points for the harness bar to bolt to? My pillars have NO bolt ups and I will have to weld something into the pillar on a plate or something.
